Professional Dog Grooming

Based out of a salon in Springvale, Elle Grooms was created to provide professional boutique services in a relaxed boutique setting with as homey a feel as possible.

For every dog that joins us, my focus is to groom at the pace of your dog to build a trusting and happy relationship between us, focusing on the Three C’s: Calm, Confident, and Cooperative. This is absolutely key for us to be able to achieve the groom we’re after in a safe and kind way.

Our products have been carefully researched and trialed and we have focussed on supporting Australian companies where possible. We’ve looked for companies that are environmentally conscious, and use premium products individually selected from our range to better our client’s coat and skin.

Having worked in almost every type of salon there is available in Australia over a span of years, we have developed very particular preferences and have brought elements from all salons and all mentors to culminate at our salon. We are dedicated to research and further education with regard to tools, products, training, and grooming methods, to mention a few. Fear Free Grooming is a toolkit Elle is currently completing the certification for, as well as a Certification to become a Pet Esthetician - with the study of skin and coat.

The salon is tucked in a quiet square in Springvale, with purpose-built areas for free time, big pens for quiet time, and a concreted backyard for those booked for a longer stay and who might want to play.

Dogs are groomed on a one-on-one basis, with Ellen's friendly 8-year-old German Shepherd Lance keeping Elle in line and on track, and providing emotional support or bark power.

If your pup is friendly, they could have a play and get some beans out otherwise, Lance is content to watch from a distance.
