I first began working with animals at my Equestrian Centre as a volunteer at the age of 10. I had become a bit horse obsessed through my lessons and thankfully my parents let me spend all of my free time (and theirs) at the Equestrian Centre, learning all I could, and spending time doing the dirty jobs most girls my age wouldn’t have volunteered to do. My dedication resulted in my first paid job as Stablehand looking after 50 odd horses on the property when I hit the legal working age.

From there I knew I wanted to work with animals.

My first job in grooming was as a bather in a salon in Brisbane, straight out of high school. I worked there as much as possible while studying at University, and the rest is history.

My deep love for animals is an integral aspect of my everyday life that needs nurturing and fulfillment, whether it be hanging out with Lance while I groom, or spending hours with my two horses in my free time.

Personal values are an enormous influence on how I run my business. Integrity, honesty, and empathy are always foremost in my mind with every decision I make, no matter how big or small.
